CBM Calling: Our Conversation with Jennifer Lau (CBM’s Associate Executive Director)

We hope you are all doing well during this time of home isolation and physical distancing, as the world fights to stop the spread of COVID-19.  We are doing well as a family, although it is especially difficult during this time, to be away from family and loved ones.  Due to the fact that our kids are homeschooled, and we work from a home office, we have been able to maintain a certain level of ‘normal’ routine, although most of our normal ministry activities have been put on hold.

Earlier today we had an opportunity to join #CBMCalling and have a short conversation with Jennifer Lau, CBM’s Associate Executive Director.  During this unprecedented time of global health pandemic, when people around the world are staying home to plank-the-curve, CBM is broadcasting live conversations with CBM staff and other ministry leaders from within the Canadian Baptist family on our Facebook page.  You can tune in to CBM’s Facebook page everyday to catch the day’s conversation, and if you’ve missed some, you can watch all the previously recorded ones.

For those of you who don’t have Facebook, of just haven’t had an opportunity to visit CBM’s page lately, we thought we’d share our conversation with Jennifer with you.  In it, we share some brief updates about our family and our ministry partners during this time of ‘enhanced community quarantine’ here in Capiz, Philippines.  (Please click on the link below to view the video)

Thanks so much for your love, prayers, and support.  We are always comforted by them, but even more so during this time of uncertainly in the global context.
